Look at those eyes! Watching, observing, taking it all in. Then based on what those eyes are seeing that beautiful, strong animal will use it's strength and energy to make a decision and follow through, whether it's to continue to watch and rest, or move to another location or to search for dinner for the night. The eyes are the windows of the Soul (Spirit) and the first step in awareness regarding any decision we make.
Just as our bodies have physical eyes, we also have spiritual eyes. Both the physical and non-physical eyes we have are meant to assist us to see the environment we are in and be able to make decisions accordingly.
From very physical sight, such as:
- "There's a chair I can sit in"
- "Look my book is on the table where I left it"
- "There's my friend at the table at the restaurant, I found her!"
To non-physical sight:
- "I don't the looks of this"
- "I can see you two are a good match together!"
- "I can see where this is going and it's very good"
Even those that do not see with their physical sight, use their other physical senses to 'see' their world.
We are so much more than just body or mind. We are Spirit. It is who we are and encompasses all that we are. Even if you don't want to acknowledge Spirit, I believe you most likely can relate to 'how something looks to you' and 'a feeling you get about something'.
Spirit is that part of us that sees things in the non-physical part of our world. Spirit guides us in what we are looking at in our environment. While our physical eyes are used by us to see physical things, our Spirit allows us to 'see' things by feeling them and whether or not they are a positive or negative for us. Spirit is the very eyes of our soul, it encompasses all that we are and always has our best interests in mind. So whether or not we feel good or bad, it is our Spirit that leads us and directs according to what we are 'seeing'.
What we are 'seeing' is one thing, whether or not we listen is something different altogether. How many times have you looked at a situation and had a "bad" feeling about it and done it anyway?.....and how did that work out? Most likely not well. Conversely, have you looked at a situation and felt to do something that seemed illogical but you felt so strongly to do it and step into it? How did that work for you? Most likely it worked out and even surprisingly so!
What you are 'seeing' in a situation is your Spirit, higher self, whatever it is that you are comfortable calling it, giving you insight into it; from there you make a decision about what you want to do about it - which is where our mind steps in. The mind really helps us to plan our way and give structure to the decisions we make. The more you learn to acknowledge and act on what you SEE and what you are feeling around what you SEE (good, bad, right for you, not right for you) the more you will begin to see positive shifts in your life.
What are you seeing beyond your physical sight today? Does the situation you have been looking at for quite some time need those fresh eyes to acknowledge what's really there for you instead of just putting up with it and thinking that there's nothing you can do about it?
TODAY I want you to just look at that situation with different eyes and ask yourself, does this situation feel good to me as it is? Would I like it to be something different? The very FIRST step to creating something different is awareness. So today I want you to be aware of how you are seeing a situation and know that we can create a better outcome together. It doesn't have to be the same old same old.
p.s. Are you seeing, maybe for the first time, that you are in a situation that you don't much care for? Does this awareness bring you to the point of 'how can I have a different outcome than what I am experiencing and seeing?'.
If that is you, then there are two things you can do:
